Isa, better known as ThatQueerIsa, is a trans & queer BIPOC individual born and raised in Virginia, MN. Growing up in northern Minnesota came with its challenges, but despite all of that, Isa always stayed true to who she was. They have fought and advocated for basic trans & queer rights in school systems, as well as in the broader community.

Isa is a talented and well-loved local drag artist performing in the Northland and across Minnesota over the past two years. She has been the host of Drag Bingo at The Main Club for a year and a half, and the Co-Host/Show Director at the Duluth Flame for a year. ThatQueerIsa is known for her high energy performances, her beauty, & her humorous & bubbly personality!

Fighting and advocating for queer & trans rights, inclusivity, and helping to build a safe community are Isa’s main points of focus. She extremely values her Twin Ports community, and wants to help make sure that people feel heard, and that they are taken care of. They are a bold, strong, loving, ambitious, and hard working individual. She’s not afraid to stand up for what’s right, and is not afraid to speak up for those who don’t feel heard and/or seen.

Outside of drag, Isa enjoys watching “RuPaul’s Drag Race” & more reality TV, listening to her favorite divas (Nicki Minaj, Beyoncé, Ariana Grande, and more), playing her favorite video games (Fortnite, Sims, Minecraft), and spending time with her partner of four years, Wade. Isa also has been awarded for playing high school and college level volleyball as a middle & right side hitter. They were a Color Guard Member for four years, and she was the Captain of Rifles for 2 seasons. Isa was also a “Pom Pon” member for the formally known, Virginia High School.
